Spent the whole weekend playing Soul Calibur II on the Gamecube. It's just... so awesome. If only Hev liked that kind of game, I could have some multiplayer action. Not to worry. There's plenty of single player stuff to unlock and play through, and i've so far only really mastered one character (I say mastered, but looking at her moves list there are some skils I can't even dream of pulling off yet).

Also bought Hev Finding Nemo for GC. Among other things, this means I'm now approaching 40 games for the GC, almost as many as I had for my NES all those years ago. I find it amusing though that Finding Nemo still hasn't been released in the cinemas here in the UK, and yet I saw it almost 4 months ago now. There is absolutely no excuse for that sort of delay. The entertainment industry jumps up and down about piracy, and yet, with such incredble and unwarranted gaps between release dates, is it any wonder that people get impatient and obtain the product via alternative means?

Back onto the subject of Soul Calibur though, they seem to have gone a little overboard on the female character's breasts. Ivy is on the verge of popping out of her outfit, not that it leaves much to the imagination anyway, and Taki, who was originally supposed to be a petite Japanese ninja, has what I can only estimate to be a 30FF bust, not that she's wearing a bra. Also, just for kicks, she seems to be constantly chilled by some unseen force, giving her nipples like miniature torpedoes. Is the game industry still trying to cater for the 15 year old "bought my first porno mag last week" age-group? I thought that ws what the Dead Or Alive games were for.
